Career & Technical Education (CTE) is an advantageous experience for all LCPS students. What was historically known as “vocational” education began as a federally supported method to prepare students for the industrialized workplace. Times have changed!

Over the years, CTE programs have evolved to meet the needs of our ever changing culture, economy, and demographics. Today, CTE focuses on industry certifications and post-secondary education. CTE extends the rigor of traditional academic achievement while giving students 21st century skills that they can use throughout their careers.
