Loudoun County’s 87 public schools will open on Tuesday, September 2nd, welcoming an estimated 73,233 students for the 2014-15 school year. Students will begin school the day after the Labor Day holiday. The last day of school will be Tuesday, June 16th.
Dr. Ricardy Anderson, the first principal of Cardinal Ridge Elementary, has a clear vision of where she wants her “First Flock” of Red Wings to be academically.
As the start of school on September 2nd approaches, the Loudoun County Public Schools (LCPS) Department of Transportation wants parents to review the ways in which their student travels to school and the practices that will make this trip a safe one.
