Welcome to Amy Staub’s Dominion Trail web page! I am really excited about the opportunity to share a little bit about myself with you. The 2013- 2014 school year will be my eleventh year as a Fourth grade teacher at Dominion Trail. However, it will be my thirteenth year as a Husky parent. During these eleven years, I have served as a 4th grade chair, mentor, PTA representative, Technology representative, and Continental Math representative. I also enjoy offering classes in the ASEP program at DTES, such as the Girls' Running Club. I received my Master’s Degree in Elementary Education from Old Dominion University. I also have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology and Business from Marymount University. I have always enjoyed working with children. I spent 12 years as a Water Safety Instructor for preschool and elementary school age children before deciding to teach full time. I love watching daily how the students grow physically, emotionally, and academically. They are a true gift to work with :) I look forward to fostering their growth throughout the 2013- 2014 school year. |
