Blue Ribbon Behavior!

This year at NLE we will continue the Blue Ribbon Behavior program with a couple small changes. The specialists at our school have come up with a rubric that mirrors the scale on the progress report in order to keep our language as consistent as possible school-wide.

Blue Ribbon Rubric

As a part of our Blue Ribbon behavior program, we also like to recognize students on the morning announcements who have demonstrated good character. Students (and adults!) are given the opportunity to recognize one another by filling out a form. The students enjoy being recognized on the morning news show and it is a wonderful, positive way to reinforce the character trait for that month as well as other good choices! Character Forms

We will announce the classes in grades K-5 with the highest Blue Ribbon score for each month.
