Our ELL's (English Language Learners) come from all over the world and bring a variety of talents and abilities to our classroom. The ELL Team at Little River will strive to provide academic language support in a nurturing environment with respect for all cultures and backgrounds. To meet the needs of these students the ELL teacher and assistant will focus attention on the areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. We do this in two ways ~

Pull out Model ~ in which students will come to the ELL Classroom for small group instruction in specific areas.

Push in Model ~ in which teacher and assistant visit regular classrooms and offer assistance in the content areas.
