McGuire, Monica - Grade 5 / Welcome

I have a BS in Elementary Education from Lyndon State College, Lyndonville, VT. I taught 3 years at Mount Laurel Middle School in Mount Laurel, New Jersey. I then moved to Virginia and taught 15 years at Ressie Jeffries Intermediate School and Leslie Fox Elementary School, both in Front Royal, VA

I believe every student can achieve success with the proper guidance, instruciton, and motivation in a challenging learning environment. I look forward this year to challenging my students to their fullest potential. This year we will be taking the SOL tests. We will be working very hard to prepare for these tests. I will work with you and your child to help make third grade a very successful. year.

My hobbies include reading, travel, and spending time with friends and family. I enjoy traveling to visit with my friends and family. I spend my winter break with family in Vermont. I am not married and I do not have any children. I do enjoy spending time with my four nieces and my nephew.
