The Early Childhood Special Education Program provides a strong, play-based, developmental curriculum. Children are provided with plenty of time to play, learn to ask questions and figure out their own answers.

The philosophy of the classroom is "children learn best by doing." Learning requires our children to use active thinking and experimenting to find out how things work and to learn first hand about the world in which they live.

Play IS the work of young children! It provides the foundation for all other learning. Play enables our children to achieve the key goals of our early childhood curriculum.

Children are responsible for their own learning. They will learn to view themselves as explorers, discoverers, problem-solvers, and inventors. Rich play experiences in preschool can actually be the best way for your child to develop the language, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills that are so crucial to success in school and life!
