Forest Grove's Fifth graders are engaged in a variety of learning experiences.  The core curriculum focuses on reading, writing, math, science, and geography.  The lessons are presented using cooperative learning experiences, literature circles, hands-on learning, and a variety of learning strategies based on student needs.  Fifth grade students have the opportunity to participate in D.A.R.E., Chorus, Morning Show and the Fifth Grade Musical.  These enriching opportunities will help prepare our students for the middle school experience.
