My name is Ms. Jennifer Zecher and I feel privileged to be the Assistant Principal at Countryside Elementary School. This is will be my 16th year in education and my 14th year in Loudoun County Public Schools. I am very excited to be beginning my second year here at Countryside. Before being assistant principal at Countryside, I spent two years as the Administrative Intern at Ball’s Bluff Elementary School and Steuart W. Weller Elementary School. For ten years, I was a high school social science teacher and Varsity Boys Tennis Coach at Park View High School.
I am originally from New York and earned a B.A. in History from Binghamton University. While studying at Binghamton, I worked in an ELL first grade class and played tennis on the women’s team. I have received two masters’ degrees: one in Secondary Education from the College of William and Mary and another from George Mason University in Educational Leadership (Administration and Supervision)
I am very excited for another terrific year at Countryside! I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-school relationship. I look forward to continuing to build positive relationships with the student, parents, and community of Countryside. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send me a note or email me at Jennifer.Zecher@lcps.org or call me at (571-434-3250).
