My name is Ms. Jennifer Zecher and I feel privileged to be the Assistant Principal at Countryside Elementary School. This is will be my 15th year in education and my 13th year in Loudoun County Public Schools. For the past two years, I have been an Administrative Intern at Ball’s Bluff Elementary School and Steuart W. Weller Elementary School. For ten years, I was a high school social science teacher and Varsity Boys Tennis Coach at Park View High School.
I am originally from New York and earned a B.A. in History from Binghamton University. While studying at Binghamton, I worked in an ELL first grade class and played tennis on the women’s team. I have received two masters’ degrees: one in Secondary Education from the College of William and Mary and another from George Mason University in Educational Leadership (Administration and Supervision)
I am very excited for a terrific year at Countryside! I believe that communication is the key to a great parent-school relationship. I look forward to getting to know the student, parents, and community of Countryside. I encourage you to contact me if you have any questions or concerns at any time. You can send me a note or email me at Jennifer.Zecher@lcps.org or call me at (571-434-3250).
