Welcome to the Briar Woods Social Studies home page. Clicking on a teacher's name will direct you to their home page. Curriculum guides for each course can be found by clicking on that course on the table, and you can contact the teacher by clicking on their e-mail link. Clarity link is now open.

Information on scheduling is available in the link to the left. The file has possible tracks for students with different goals, although there are numerous other options that are not shown. One key aspect is that for all students in the class of 2015 and later are required to have one semester of Financial Literacy and at least one semester of Economics. The latter requirement can be met by either the semester elective course or the year-long AP Economics course. Scheduling questions should be directed to the Guidance Department, and additional information about individual courses can be found in the Program of Studies on the LCPS website.
