Mr. Guinther is from West Lafayette, Ohio. He moved to Northern Virginia in 1993 and began his teaching career at Oliver Wendell Holmes Middle School located in Fairfax County, Virginia. During his ten years at Holmes Middle School, he taught special education, sixth grade general science, and supervised the after school intramural program. After moving to Loudoun County in 2002, he helped open Belmont Ridge Middle School. During his four years at Belmont, he taught sixth grade science and started a fishing club. After teaching during the day, Mr. Guinther went back to college in 2007 and earned his Master of Science degree in Education Administration from Shenandoah University. |
