Library Mission: The mission of the library-media program at Douglass is to help students and staff become effective users of information and ideas, to help teachers teach, and to promote lifelong learning and a love for books and reading.

Hours of Operation:
Monday-Friday 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM

Circulation Policies:

  • Books and audio books may be checked out for a 2-week period, and may be renewed at the circulation desk as long as no holds on the material have been placed by others.
  • Magazines are checked out for 1 week.
  • Students may check out up to 5 items; the librarians may make exceptions to this limit for special circumstances.
  • Students with any item overdue by more than two weeks will not be allowed to check out additional items until overdue materials are returned.
  • Items missing over 2 months are considered "lost" and must be paid for. If the item is found by the end of the academic year, payment will be refunded. Checks for lost books should be made payable to Douglass School.
