Mr. Kirwan is currently enjoying his 9th  year at Sanders Corner Elementary School.  He was born in the Bronx, NY and lived in Staten Island for a few years too.  His family moved to Virginia during his middle school years.  He attended Fairfax High School and graduated from Marymount University in Arlington, VA with a B.S. in Health Fitness.  He served his country proudly for eight years in the U.S. Army.  Mr. Kirwan has been married for 20 years and has one daughter in High school.  Mr. Kirwan was the coach for his daughter’s basketball team and volunteered at Stone Bridge High football freshmen team.  He really enjoys working with kids and looks forward to another great year at Sanders Corner.
