Welcome to Fifth Grade!

This is a very busy and exciting year! There are many different standards to investigate and practice to prepare for the SOL tests. The Writing SOL test will be taken in March. The Reading, Mathematics, and Science SOL tests will be taken in May. We will be working very hard to prepare for these tests throughout the year.

D.A.R.E. is an exciting program offered only to fifth grade students. We look forward to D.A.R.E. graduation once the students have completed the program.

We also have many wonderful activities to look forward to throughout the year.

We have had a great start to our year and want to continue to make this year an unforgettable one!
