Welcome to an exciting year at Mill Run. I will be a Learning Specialist and Case Manager this school year working with students in second and fifth grade. I have worked in all grade levels since beginning at Mill Run when the school opened in 2000. I am very proud to be part of the charter staff at Mill Run, and l look forward to seeing many familiar faces and getting to know new students and parents in the upcoming school year.
There have been a lot of growth and changes these past thirteen years, but Mill Run has always been a school where we put
"children first." This year will be my fifteenth year in Loudoun County working in Special Education. My undergraduate degree is in Liberal Studies with concentrations in education, psychology and sociology from Marymount University, and I have a Master’s Degree in Special Education from Old Dominion University.I have lived in Ashburn Farm for 17 years, and my children attended Loudoun County Schools. I may see you enjoying the beautiful walking paths, great shopping, and fine restaurants around us. In my free time I love spending time with my family including two grandchildren Mason and Emmy, visiting the Outer Banks, and reading my Kindle.
Please don't hesitate to contact me. I can be reached at school via email or telephone.
