Mrs. Woodby
Welcome to third grade! This will be a very exciting year for everyone. I can hardly believe this will be my tenth year as a staff member at Mill Run and my fourth year as a third grade teacher! I previously taught as a fifth grade teacher and special education assistant. Before entering the field of education, I received my undergraduate degree from Radford University in English. I returned to Old Dominion University to obtain my PreK-6 teaching license, and in spring 2011 completed a Masters in Technology Education at George Mason University. It is a privilege to take part in a career where I can make a positive difference in the lives of my students.

Favorite subjects: Science & SS...I absolutely love learning about the earth and the people who have shaped it!

Favorite splurge: Elizabeth Arden's Red Door Spa
In my free time I...hang out with family & friends, travel, play with my puppies, plan my wedding, go to concerts/festivals, and bike on the W & OD Trail.
Family: 4 siblings (I am the youngest), 9 nieces & 5 nephews
I am looking forward to a fabulous year with a fabulous group of third graders!
