Mrs. Foti (formally Ms. Albert)
Mrs. Foti grew up in Montgomery County Maryland. She attended James Madison University for her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education. After graduating in May 2011, Mrs. Foti stayed a fifth year at JMU and earned her Master of Arts in Teaching degree. This past summer Mrs. Foti got married. She and her husband live in Maryland. In her free time Mrs. Foti enjoys reading, spending time with her two sisters and brother, and taking family dog walks. Mrs. Foti is very excited to begin her second year at Belmont Station Elementary School!
Mrs. Morsink (formally Miss Dardine)
Mrs. Morsink grew up in a suburb outside of Philadelphia. She began her college experience and attended James Madison University in the fall of 2003. While pursuing her Bachelor's of Science degree in Elementary Education, she was a student-athlete and a four-year member of the women's lacrosse team. In May 2008, she graduated from JMU with a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. To jumpstart Miss Dardine's teaching career, she taught third grade in Gardner, Kansas for two years. For the past three years, Miss Dardine has taught fourth grade here at Belmont Station. During her free time, she enjoys reading, the beach, playing and watching sports, and spending time with her family and friends.
Ms. Michael has been teaching in Loudoun County for 35+ years. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Radford University and a Master’s degree in Elementary Education from Shenandoah University. Ms. Michael lives in Leesburg with her two Corgi dogs, Daisy and Lily. Her son graduated from George Mason University with a degree in history. Her daughter graduated from Radford University with a degree in interior design and merchandising. Ms. Michael loves going to the beach and reading by the ocean. She also takes pride in her yard and her flowers.
Mr. Porter grew up outside of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and attended Penn State University for his undergraduate degree where he studied English and Sociology. He then went on to work at the Pressley Ridge Schools in Pittsburgh while earning his Master’s in Elementary Education at Duquesne University. Mr. Porter moved to Loudoun County in 2000 and began teaching 5th grade at Evergreen Mill Elementary where he stayed for 7 years. After completing his administration endorsement at George Mason, Mr. Porter went on to become the Assistant Principal at Algonkian Elementary for 4 years. This will be his third year at the BeST elementary school in the county. He is so excited for this upcoming school year!
Mrs. Santo grew up in Illinois. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University and her teaching credential in Elementary Education from California State University in Northridge, California. Mrs. Santo spent 4 years teaching 2nd grade in the Los Angeles area before relocating to Virginia. She is excited to begin her fourth year here at Belmont Station. Mrs. Santo lives in Leesburg with her husband John and their four children, Chris, Allison, Meredith, and John. In her free time, she enjoys walking her two dogs, watching old movies, and spending time with her family.
Meredith Wetmore is very excited to be on the fourth grade team for her third year at Belmont Station! She is native to Loudoun County, graduating from Loudoun Valley High School in 2005. Ms. Wetmore crossed over the mountains and attended West Virginia University. From WVU, she earned her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Elementary Education, specializing in Special Education and Early Childhood. After graduation, she furthered her education by earning her Autism Endorsement. When Ms. Wetmore is not teaching, she enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and baby beagle, Missy. As college football season arrives you will find her wearing her “blue and gold” and cheering on her beloved Mountaineers. Let’s go ‘EERS! Ms. Wetmore is looking forward to making this school year a memorable one!
