Mrs. Thomas is in her sixth year of teaching. She graduated from Radford University in 2002 with a major in accounting. After a few years of accounting she realized she wanted to become a teacher. Since her degree is business-based, she was able to obtain a keyboarding teaching position at the middle school level. She absolutely loves teaching the sixth graders.

 

Keyboarding class is not only about learning the QWERTY technique on the keyboard; it involves learning about the computer and provides the opportunity to work in the MicroSoft Office Suite. In Keyboarding class we will be completing several projects that are based in Word 2007, Excel 2007, and PowerPoint.

 

Everdy day of teaching is an adventure. I work very hard to make this class fun! In return, I expect my students to work hard and to have a positive attitude.
